Global CEO Alliance (GCEOA) is a coalition of private sector groups, individual companies, academe and research institutions that aims to provide means to strengthen the private sector participation into the development agenda. Established in 2016, GCEOA developed a strong working relations various UN organs as an implementing partner of their programmes and sub-programmes. Over the years, GCEOA has been steadfast in supporting the Agenda 2030 and aligned its core programmes on the key themes of Impact Investments, Impact Education, Local Resiliency, Impact Sourcing and UN program management support.

Impact Education

GCEOA Alliance believes in the importance of increasing the absorptive capacity of all actors of sustainable development, through knowledge sharing and efficient distribution of various learning modalities with the use of technology. GCEOA works with partners to deliver capacity building, continuing education and technical programmes to bridge capacity gaps in various thematic areas of development. Capacity and training programmes are delivered in a blended learning model of workshops from our network of development experts, course modules and e-learning systems. GCEOA strongly supports embedding sustainability in both formal and informal means of education to equip future generations the knowledge, skills and values necessary to shape a sustainable future.

Impact Investments

Impact Investments

GCEOA acknowledges the trillion-dollar investment needed to achieve the SDG and its targets. GCEOA works with upstream and downstream partners to devise different modalities of investment partnerships that yields the utmost value for money. Our impact investment division leverage on the available cutting-edge technology that provides highest level of transparency and accountability for investors and communities where our investments are situated. Our portfolio seeks to address the most pressing challenges in sectors such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, microfinance and affordable and accessible access to basic services including housing, healthcare, and education.

Impact Sourcing

GCEOA strongly supports sustainable and ethical sourcing of organizations we work with. Our Impact Sourcing programme provide transparent and measurable mechanism for our partners to source materials and manpower needed to operate and deliver a net positive impact to the environment and society. We continue to strive building a pipeline of sourcing and outsourcing options for our partners that meets their sustainability objectives—providing means of economic participation to high potential but highly disadvantaged sectors.

Local Resiliency

GCEOA partners with multi-lateral organization and city coalitions to increase resiliency at the local level and tackle both climate and economic crises through effective local planning, initiatives, innovative financing models, and sustainable infrastructure. GCEOA gathers consultants, investors, local and national governments, and academia to work collaboratively and accomplish transformational change required to meet challenge related to physical and transitional risk of climate change.
